I am asking for a letter of recommendation from a teacher who knows me very well. I am typing up a resume (I will need it eventually anyway) and I don't know what type of information to include.

I have all of my EC's
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, and ImageReady
Accomplishments
Some small academic info (GPA)

We gave the teachers a copy of his resume.

Areas included were:
Intended major
Honors and Awards
Clubs
Leadership positions
Community activities (including community services)
Employment

Put down what you can think of and keep adding to it until you mail it out to schools in the fall. It's also good organization when filling out college applications. (And will need information like this when applying to National Honor Society too.)

Most of the information on the resume will not be pertinent to the teacher rec, though it may be for the guidance counselor (who in our school barely knows the kids). The teachers tend to know the kids pretty well and if they teach a class that is related to the major, then they can write pertinent things too.
