What to Know about Military Academy Admissions

Find out how to apply to one of the five US military academies. https://insights.collegeconfidential.com/military-academy-admissions

A colleague’s daughter is headed to West Point. It’s a long and rigorous process but if this is your child’s dream, it is well worth it.

As I’ve posted over on the U.S. Service Academies forum, Kiplinger’s article provides a more informed overview of the service academy admissions process:

The application process can take up to a year and is a test in itself. If becoming an officer in one of our armed services is your goal, do your research, then buckle up for a long application round and a very tough ride through college. Our son graduated and commissioned from West Point last year and is now serving out his nine-year commitment in the Cyber branch at Ft. Gordon, GA.

I’m happy to answer any questions I can, but it seems to me this thread belongs in the Service Academies forum.
