What to major in to be an inventor and to learn how to draw up great blueprints

Hi I am a young inventor with some ideas and inventions already in the works. I was wondering what is something I can major in though. My inventions are very broad in category from defense and weaponry to medical to home use and so on. I already plan on majoring in mechanical engineering but what else could I major in for a double major I also plan on minoring in business

Thanks

Both electrical and mechanical engineering are good majors for many areas of invention, but chemical engineering is also very good, as chemicals are patentable, as are drugs. Physics also can be good, as there are a lot of inventions in optics, device physics, and measurement systems.

I mostly have blueprints for weapons, vehicles, gear for police and military but I also want to get into robotics for/and medicine, and like home appliances and vehicles if that helps

Seems like a good track to be on! If I were you I would try to look for some 5-year Bachelor/MBA or Bachelor/Master’s programs.
