If I participated in a junior varsity sport for 3 years without any honors won or letters earned, what do I put under the "Details and Accomplishments" section? And what would I put under "Position Held, Honors Won, Letters Earned, or Employer"? Thanks.

I didn’t put anything for Tennis. I… don’t know of any Tennis awards. You could say “Outstanding Tennis Player Award” I suppose.
Don’t sweat it. I’d be more worried about how accurate the time spent has to be.

If the menu doesn’t already let you pick the sport (I can’t remember how specific it got), “Details and Accomplishments” should include the name of the sport. If you want, you could also include the position you played, or mention anything else you did for the team (volunteering at events, fundraising, etc.). Don’t worry about this too much, it’s not that critical of a section and is really there mostly for the activities that need explaining. Sports are pretty straightforward (basketball is the same sport pretty much everywhere), whereas many clubs (and officer positions) need explanation.

Alright thanks. It’s just that online the common app wont allow you to leave anything blank, and I don’t want to sound redundant.

If you can’t think of anything at all to mention, just type a period. That should fulfill its requirement.

Yeah okay. Thanks again.
