What to Take for Cultural Diversity requirement

Hello,

I'm an incoming freshman and because of my late registration date I pretty much got shafted in terms of getting the classes i want/need. I only have two classes right now and I'm waitlisted for two more, but the advisors tell me there's little to no chance of getting in to those two. I have some courses being transferred which will take care of my lower division Area Studies requirements (Warren) so I can't take those. So I'm pretty much left with taking my upper division AS classes (psych and music) or taking a class for the Cultural Diversity requirement.

1) Are any of the psych or music upper division courses easy? (I don't want to slack, but I don't want to be overwhelmed my first quarter so I'd prefer a chill teacher/class)
2) Same question as above but for classes that fulfill the Cultural Diversity req.

Thanks in advance,
vinvam

sorry i can’t answer your question very well but all i know is that you should take something in music to overlap your cultural diversity requirement. that’s what i’m doing. but i’m not an engineer major

because i got 3rd on my enrollment date, i’m taking bunch of GEs…

An upperdiv Music course that satisfies both my AS requirement and the Cultural Diversity requirement would be perfect.

^ Im pretty sure MUS 8 american music covers the cultural diversity requirement

Unfortunately that’s a lowerdiv course and I’ve already done my lowerdiv Music AS course at a local community college so MUS8 would be redundant for me.

Are there any “easy” upperdiv Psych courses?
