What to take...

During my highschool career I will be taking as many as five AP classes, the guidance office at my school hasn't released any info about AP exams, resulting in my question: What classes should I or anyone else take the AP exam for? Should I take all five of them or just the ones in my strongest classes/the ones related to what I want to major in in college? Thanks.

If you take an AP class, take the exam. There’s no reason not to.

With that being said, I’d look to take World History, U.S. History, English Lang./Lit., and whatever else interests you (perhaps a language like Spanish or French).

Go check out the colleges you want to go to. See what AP credits they offer. Some of the colleges I want to go to don’t offer credit for AP Lang, but I took it. So it’s a good idea to check. A lot of colleges want you to take U.S for their general education. That’s why APUSH is really popular. This applies to foreign languages too. In addition, if I were you, I would take the courses I’m going to major in. That’s my strategy.

Usually the best ones (in my opinion) are typically: AP USH, AP World History or Govt, AP Lang, AP Lit, AP Cal. Mainly because it looks good to take an AP Cal class and the AP English classes are always good, too.

I would take some of the more important AP classes, like:
AP Calculus (BC preferably)
AP US History
AP English Literature
AP Chemistry, Biology, or Physics
AP Foreign language of your choice
