What type of colleges can I get into with these...

So I'm graduating this year from high school and I'm in the top ten students of my class and I want to go to a good college, go to a great med-school, one day become and infectious disease specialist, and one day open up a hospital that does all treatments for free for all patients (because my family's reall really poor...I mean we live off of less than $10,000 a year and there are 6 of us. There have been many times when we have been turned away from treatment because we didn't have the money). So please be brutally honest about what schools I can get into

So overall I picked myself up Senior Year. And I wanted to know what are my chances of getting into a good college or Ivy League School. Please be brutally honest. Thanks!

You said be brutally honest, so I’ll make sure that I am.

Your ACT score is far too low for any of the Ivy Leagues, or any of the ultra competitive (Stanford, MIT, etc.). Your greatest hindrance is the ACT score. It will be hard, but if you can get it up 7 or more points, you’d be in a much better position for the most competitive colleges.

Your GPA, although good, is also below the standards of the Ivies or ultra competitive. E.C.'s look good, although there are a few that you just did senior year, which will look like padding.

You said that you are a senior. How exactly have you graduated without knowing what school you are going to? Have you at least applied to any? If you truly have graduated, apply somewhere, as soon as possible. You are really running out of time for college, if you haven’t even applied by now. All of what I just said is moot if you truly just graduated. If you did just graduate, apply somewhere to make sure that you go somewhere, and transfer to a school you want to go to more, later.
