What type of engineer should I become?

Hi,
I need help deciding which type of engineer to become. I really like all math and physics. I am split between Aerospace and Civil. I don't know why civil, but the idea of creating stuff people use seems interesting. I have always loved airplanes. I also like the idea of designing airplanes.

Thanks!

Uhh electrical and mechanical engineers create things people use too…

I meant like big things such as roads and buildings

Major in Mechanical and get a Masters in Aerospace or Civil

You can’t go wrong either way (of course you can’t really go wrong with any engineering). It’s difficult for us to say exactly because it ultimately comes down to what you like more.

I personally chose Aerospace because I prefer stuff in motion. Civil can be interesting, but I prefer Dynamics over Statics and I’m not the biggest fan of concepts such as shear stress (actually found Mech. of Materials to be a rather boring class).

I think I am going to go for aerospace. Thanks
