Do people dress tend to dress nicely or casually? At many colleges, people would wear pjs and flip flops to class. Do people at Princeton wear flip flops around campus? Or something more presentable, like closed toe shoes?

Two-inch stiletto heels, mandatory in all lectures, precepts, and labs.

Except in the winter. Flip flops are permitted in the winter.

its college, bro.

We’ve already established that iCalculus is a ■■■■■. And lol to newest newb’s comment, well done.

What the ****. I am not a ■■■■■ and that was a serious question. I need to know what clothes/shoes to bring. I want to know if students will wear thongs in classes taught by famous professors.

FWIW, I have never considered iCalc a ■■■■■.

“I want to know if students will wear thongs in classes taught by famous professors.”

That’s like asking if college students skip class from time to time. It’s college, you do what you want.

And from your many previous (and ridiculous) posts on the forum, I don’t think I’m out of line in calling you a ■■■■■.

Everyone wears boat shoes, of course.

As long as you look like a geek, you’ll fit in.

Geez, give the kid a break!

In short: it really doesn’t matter, wear whatever you want. People don’t typically dress up for class, nor do they typically wear pajamas. Flip-flops are pretty common; I wear them all the time when it’s warm enough.

Sorry, I had to. I was always surprised going to the fancy universities with how normal people were dressed. It’s strange how some schools you have to wear something with the school logo, or you don’t fit in. I am sure there are schools where it is the opposite. But just like high school, there are some strange trends and clothing goes in and out of style faster than you can keep up.
