What type of student do you think of when you hear/read...

Try this out. Answer the poster above you with what image of a student that conjures up in your mind when you read (or imagine hearing, like during a conversation) the name of a certain college. Then, finish with a college of your choice to continue the chain.

The reason why I'm posting this is just plain curiosity. I know for me, when I see a random person with certain college apparel on, I think "BLAH-BLAH." I'll start us off, with a classic.

Harvard.

Intelligent, wealthy, stuck-up, condescending

Stanford.

Paddling-duck analogy, genius...and loaded.

Now, let's try a change in flavor:
West Point.

One with short hair being yelled at by an officer

Princeton

snobbish, weathly, a member of the exclusive eating-clubs, clad in polo or a similar brand named clothes, probably fairly friendly, hardworking

University of Rochester :)

it's cold there.

U of Chicago

very serious students, intelligent yet not pretentious, and quirky.

WAKE FOREST

quiet, nerdy but maybe still cool, smart, doesn't care whether people know their school is great or not.

Oops I answered for UChi at same time.

Wake Forest - somewhat conservative, pretty smart but not at their first choice school.

Wesleyan University

small, intimate, quirky, pot-smoking, intellegent

Case Western

Loaded to the teeth.

Berea College

Berea College - huh? WHo are you kid?

Rutgers University

Rutgers?
Wants a good education and is conscientious about money.

Notre Dame

Catholic. Fighting Irish. Cornfields. Smart.

Syracuse

Students who say "soda" instead of pop.

Michigan State Unversity

Medieval knight (the buildings look like freakin' castles), sports fans (good football and bball team), students who fit the popular stereotypes of college students

Cornell

smart, liberal, less cocky about the fact that they are at an ivy than youd think.

McGill

Cornell - Depressed, unsatisfied (Cornell Students always want to transfer out of the school after his/her first year either for more prestige or social life) whiners who doesnt appreciate what he's/she's gifted with. Oh yeah, and Smart.

oops, someone already posted.

McGill - Smart American-wannabe Canadians.

UCLA

Fast, agressive, smart, appearence-conscious

University of Maryland
