<p>Compared to other cities of its size, it has a lot to offer. Lots of music venues, clubs, restaurants. It's also exponentially more dangerous than most cities of its size, though, lol.</p>

<p>Very liberal, hippie-type students. Actually pretty smart, but choose UCSC because of its atmosphere over the larger UC's. The students aren't really into sports, unless you count smoking pot as one.</p>

<p>Party school w/ stereotypical greek scene. People who are going to college because that's what is expected of them, but don't really care about anything except partying on the beach. </p>
