Yeah my first car was a 2005 Bentley Continental GT.

Ok not really-It's my dad's car.

Fine thats not true either, I just rode around in one when my uncle visited.

Ok I'm making that up too. But hey, I saw one parked at a mall once.

Ok I lied. I live in Hicksville, Wisconsin and there's no mall for a billion miles. But wait! I saw it online once and if seeing it on the internet and owning the car isn't the same thing then maybe I'm just missing the point of the internet.

1988 Acura Legend. I've personally owned it for two years after 16 years as my grandpa's car.

This fall I am getting his 1996 Volvo 850. I'm hoping my buddy buys my Legend since he needs a car and the Legend is really dependable despite its age.

They change cars every year. Sometimes it's not too significant but other times they give it a complete overhaul (like the new Toyota Camry that just came out). In my case, the 1988 Legend is much different than, say, a 1995 (last year of production with a different engine and body style). Mostly I give it for people who know the differences between the different model years so they know which one I've got.

Haha, thanks...I guess that's a compliment?

I find it funny that I know the differences between years of cars because I don't work on them--some guys who do restorations and repairs know years really well because they need specific parts for what they work on. I think it's because I've always been crazy-obsessed with cars since I was little. Not a bad thing, I guess--we always need someone who knows model years :-)

1999 Saturn SL1. It usually runs okay, gets me to where I need to be, and is easy to park. It is kinda ugly and has no upgrades (manual windows and locks! ;)). But, its okay. My parents bought it for my sister, who passed it down to me. When I want a nicer car I'll buy it myself.

My first car that was really mine is my 2006 Scion xA. It's my pride and joy, I paid cash for it myself, and I love owning my car and not having to make any payments or anything on it. Walking out of the dealership clean with keys in hand owing nothing was amazing.

Of course, once I paid the insurance on it, I was pretty much personally broke, but I have a my car so who cares?!

Cheap cars from Chevy are the best kinds, though!

I love my Cavalier :)

And I'm glad parents didn't buy me a BMW or some other ridiculously expensive car...or even a brand new moderate priced car...because I want to be proud of my real first car, not all pouty because I couldn't afford to outdo (or even match) the one my parents got me.

'94 Saab 900S, it was so cheap and I absolutely love it! My next car is an '04 Mercedes E500, which i don't like as much as my Saab, so I think I'll just sell the benz. Any buyers?
