The senior class is already starting to discuss this, looking for suggestions.

In the 80's, our song was "We've Only Just Begun" by The Carpenters. :-)

Look at "100 Years" by Five For Fighting. As long as it is anything but "The Graduation Song" by Vitamin C. There was a good thread about this a while back:

Life is a highway

"Who Let the Dogs Out" apparently.

:D

"hard to say goodbye to yesterday" by boyz ii men.

we used used the acappella vesion. i was so excited when it came on at the end...everyone else started crying. babies.

Good Riddance -Green Day

I'm Coming Out-Pink

^um...do you mean "get the party started" where she say's "i'm coming out so you better get this party started"?

i remember our class refused to have vitamin c song or green day's "good riddance" b/c we'd heard it was ridiculously overdone and cliche. i swear, i think before graduation, i had heard those two songs played on the last day of school since 6th grade.

^^^Yeah so true but the majority of our senior class were a bunch of lame stoners

The theme song to Cheers done by one of the grade 11's on piano.

I heard that " we only just begun" is a wedding song.

I cannot hear that song now without thinking of Starsky and Hutch.

I went to my cousin's grad ceremony and they had "Breaking Free" from High School Musical I was lmao!

I'm not graduating until this year... and I know there are sooo many options but I think Carrie Underwood's "Whenever You Remember" is the absolute perfect song. If you haven't heard it (which I doubt most people have), you should give it a listen... =]

My school doesn't do graduation songs. I'm not sure my class could have ever agreed on one. We still managed to have the "rowdiest graduation I've ever seen" (quoted from a long tenured teacher). :) We just thought we were being spirited.

Sly and the family?
Or something like that
WOW.

I just forgot the song.
Talk about amnesia.

Pirates of the Caribbean

A Nickel Back Song (did I misspell that?)

It's Nickelback. No space needed. :)

I'd go with Freedom-RATM. I know, the song has a very diffrent message in mind, but it does go with the flow. "Freedom! Freedom! Yeah, right." As in, you think you are free, but youy are just gonna go to College next year anyway. So you're not free yet.

my sisters was the vitamin c one i think.....it was ok for them to use it cuz hers was the first class to i think...but itd be annoying for someone to use it now...
