Most of us know that to get into ND, you need to take a challenging courseload, have a high GPA, etc. But looking at the GPA data doesn't always help since different schools can weight very differently.

So, a question for admitted students: what were your grades like in high school? Straight A's? A few Bs? Or a mix?

A’s/A-'s for semester grades which my schools shows (i did have a couple B+'s/B’s for quarters but these were not shown on transcript).

I took 4 AP courses and 15 Honors courses, and this seemed to be on the low end. Kids at my school usually took more AP courses.

I would warn as well, that it is not all about grades. You have to be passionate about something and made a difference. This is the best advice for any application. In essays, ec’s, etc demonstrate what you are “fighting” for.

I had a range of A’s and a few B+/B’s. But I took a full courseload of AP/IB classes. For senior year I think it came out to 4 IB classes and 2 AP classes.

A bunch of As, 4 Bs, and 2 semester Cs (meh…). All of my year-long course grades came out to As and Bs, though.

I took 9 AP tests- 3 5s, 2 4s, one 3 (chem, ugh) and I’m waiting on the last 3 tests.
