What will all the CC addicts do with their suddenly vast free time?? There could be serious withdrawal effects, I'm afraid. Maybe its time to plan a new hobby...

Sleep, and enjoy what is left of the school year. Or cause trouble to my dog. :)

The new hobby could be planning what we're going to do in college. ;)

we could throw a party over in the cafe if yall want? :)

Or..continue to help underclassmen :)

As you'll soon see, a fair number of them will spend time on CC fretting that the college acceptances that they worked so hard to get will be rescinded due to a drop in their grades.

I'd probably spend some time drooling over some very sleek notebook computers :)

ASUS!!!!!!

LOL coureur! The last thing anyone who's fearing a drop in their grades that would rescind their acceptance needs to do is be on CC. This site is so flippin' time-consuming.

I'm going to experience extreme withdrawal. I'm already experiencing it since I've received 7/9 decisions back.

Most people just leave . . . and enjoy college

and some of us are crazy enough to come back and help next year's crop

its soon gonna be prom mode for me, gotta get my fly, curvacious, dance floor skilled date. i'm off to mackin, after april1st ofcourse.

See? It has started already:

lol. typical cc. got damn.

I was talking to another mom with a college-bound daughter--she said after the admissions decision is made, her next phase will be mourning that her daughter is moving out! But meanwhile the whole admissions thing has been a huge distraction keeping us parents from thinking about losing our "babies" out of the nest

I'll prolly be one of those people who comes back next year to share my wise advice... ;)

Not sure if I'll hang around much this summer though. What is there to discuss!

ha. true. ill prolly come back next year tho.

Then it's time to start freaking about possible waitlist acceptances, admissions rescissions (as mentioned before), housing, registration, roommate matching, orientation, move-in, what to buy, what to pack....

^^True.

Like youth soccer in California, college admissions is a year-round sport.
