Freshmen and sophomore years my GPAs (cumlative and semesters) were 3.3 but then my semester GPAs for junior year was 3.4 and 3.66 even though I took AP classes sophomore and junior year. What will colleges think? Would this make me a weaker candidate?

You are a stronger applicant to have upward trend. Some students mature later than others. It is worse to have downward trend. Continue with your good work.

The change isn’t that drastic, you didn’t go from 2.5 to 3.5.

It’s a positive change, but obviously not as great as if you’d had a high GPA all along. Work with what you’ve got, have a great 1stt semester senior year, and see where things fall. There are far worse positions to be in.
