If you pay your deposit but then don’t enroll by registering for classes and paying for your first semester, it will be the same as if you never paid your deposit. Your deposit just holds your place but if you don’t follow through nothing happens except you will lose the money. Your admittance status will be an admitted student that never enrolled, the same as if you hadn’t paid your deposit.
