What will you do after you read the letter?

considering i got wait-listed in Rice, Washu and rejected in Columbia(ED) and Berkeley

accepted - sign in relief and tell myself that i might have chance for other colleges
rejected- cry and cry and cry and be extremely depressing and desperate and heartbroken
waitlisted - feel awkward and unrelieved worry about other college results

My D received a letter from Vanderbilt today. Did anyone else received one?

She got her decision already!? Where do you live?

Tennessee. It is just a standard envelope. I have the feeling she has been waitlisted. I was just wondering if there is a difference in letter for waitlisted, accepted or what?

big envelope with "congratulations" on front if you're accepted. regular envelope for waitlist and deny

Hey, where's Vanderbilt located anyway? I'm horrible at geography.

Nashville, TN.

yeah if you go on their site the accepted envelopes are the big ones with the red band
