I can possibly make my schedule work so that I have time to take one (possibly two, depending on how the timing works out) course at my local community college during my regular school day. As of right now, I am enrolled in AP Statistics, but I would much rather take Calculus IIII at the college, since I intend to major in physics at a university. I also am thinking about taking a programming class during that time as well, depending on the timing. Are there any other classes that you would recommend taking at the college level that I may be overlooking?

If you can’t get multivariable calculus, linear algebra or differential equations would also be fine. It might be a good idea to see what classes, if any, would transfer to the universities you’re applying to. You could take courses that would get you out of general education requirements.

At the local community college, Calculus III is the only option I would have. It is a pre-requisite for linear algebra and differential equations, and I believe it includes multivariable calculus.

Calculus III is usually synonymous with multivariable calculus.
