What would be a good estimate of personal expenses as a freshman?

<p>What would be a pretty good estimate of personal expenses as a freshman, excluding "athletic and activity fees," "health service fee," "room and board," and "health insurance plan"??</p>

<p>It depends on where you are and what you’re including. $100 a week should be fine in most areas (for clubbing/clothes/restaurants, etc).</p>

<p>If their underage, you don’t even need 100 dollars. Honestly, freshman stay on campus a lot so they aren’t going to need money for clubbing, clothes, or restaurants.</p>

<p>They’re going to need money for pizza and alcohol.</p>

<p>IF 1)You stay on Campus, 2)Have a meal plan, 3)Don’t go clubbing a lot, 4)Don’t have a car and 5)Have your parents pay for whatever snacks you need then theres no reason that 2000 dollars a semester shouldn’t be fine. Honestly, it should be MORE than fine.</p>
