what would u do

okk so in order to transfer to mccombs after my fresh yr from liberal arts i have to have 3.5 gpa, so should i get ap credit for calc bc wich i got 4 and would be credit for calc1 and 2 or should i take class all over again to get easy a, same thing for psychology, and macreconomics? Or should i not take them again since i plan to double major in accounting and finance? Is it easy to get 3.5 at Ut?

I would definitely take the credit for calc. I'm at UT rite now, transfering into mccombs as well from liberal arts. there are many easier classes u can take than calc here at UT and it won't be frowned upon that u didnt take calc here because u have credit for it and they dont care as long as u have credit. I would also take credit for psych..its not an easy class here for the most part.

I'm taking macroecon rite now with Prof. Norman and its a fairly easy class but very unstructured but interesting at the same time as well. id still say to take credit for the class if you can get it. the more credit the better because you can use your freshman year to take easier classes to get that gpa you need and also fulfil alot of your general education requirements.

Also, you cannot double major in finance and accounting..you can only have one concentration in business. You can major in one and minor in another if you like. Getting a 3.5 at UT your freshman year without calc is definitely not that bad. Even with calc, i have a 4.0. don't worry about it too much but make sure you study. good luck!
