What would you choose if cost is approximately same?
UT Austin dean Scholars Program v/s Vanderbilt University
Primary Major is - Cell and Molecular biology with intent to go for MD/PHD.
UT gives double major options in College of natural science for CMB with CS where as it is slightly difficult in Vanderbilt due to Comp Science being in Engineering school. Which school will open up more opportunities, research and future prospects? Please help.

MD/PHD is what seems like choice. I dont know if it changes when i go to school.

If you’re serious about being premed, getting a very high GPA, and getting into med school…either MD or MD/PhD, then getting a very high GPA is necessary.
Vandy can be a grind for premeds.

Thank you!! MD/PHD is not so much dependent on high GPA so it should be OK. Can you do double major for example Comp Science and MCB which are in two different schools?

Mean GPA for matriculating MD/PhD students = 3.78
Mean MCAT for matriculating MD/PhD Students = 514
