So, I'm a rising senior and it's getting to be that time of year where it's time to finalize my transcript and test scores and apply to colleges, AHH. So, my question is regarding which test you would recommend retaking. I have taken both the ACT & SAT, which above average scores but still not as high as I would have liked. However, I took both without any studying or prep, so I know I have ample room to improve. But I'm at a tough place trying to decide which test to retake, because I'd like to avoid retaking both if possible. The schools I'm looking at also require subject tests along with the SAT. While I'm partially happy with the subject test scores I have already received, I think I really would like to take more subjects to show colleges my skills in classes that I may not have gotten an A in. So, in your opinion, would it be better for me to just retake the ACT (which I had a higher score on in the first place) but not be able to show colleges my skills in other subjects, or retake the SAT but have to put in a greater amount of effort because my SAT score was lower than my ACT. I'm leaning towards the SAT, but I need to know, is the effort worth it?

Personally, though I took the SAT, I think the ACT would be better. As far as I know, it pretty much just stands in for the SAT + Subject Tests all by itself, equally.
