Which should I take: the SAT Subject tests or the ACT?

Okay, so here's my dilemma. I'll become a senior this fall, and I plan on sending some Early Action applications, so I only have one or two opportunities after the summer to take these darn standardized tests. I've already taken the SAT and did extremely well (in my opinion) and got a 2290. However, I did very poorly on the 2 Subject tests I've taken thus far, earning scores of only 710 and 690 on Spanish and Chemistry, respectively. I feel like I definitely need to re-take the Chem one, and I also plan on taking the Math IIC test. I haven't taken the ACT yet, and certainly plan on doing so since a high score on the ACT opens up scholarship opportunities that the SAT doesn't offer. But my question is, should I even bother retaking the Chem and the Math IIC if I'm taking the ACT?

bump please this is important…

I think you can take tests up until November, for EA.

It’s a good idea. Some schools, like Columbia, require ACT plus SAT 2s

Def take Math 2, Chem is the 710 right? It’s fine, but if you think you can do better (750+) then retake.
