In my state there is something called jump start where you can start taking community college courses during high school and get your high school degree while earning college credits. It's cheaper than the awful excuse of an education of my very religious private school. I don't want to go back to my town's only public school either, because it's hell on earth socially. at the same time, I know that it will look better when I want to apply to a 4-year college if I apply as a freshman and not a transfer, and give a high school credits, not community college, and I've heard they have trouble understanding how you could have a high school diploma from a community college and like to write you down as "GED" or "Non-Degree" because you don't have an officially numbered high school. This is what I heard from someone in the program. I know this is an issue if you want to try using the generic application form thing, because it won't let you put your community college's number for where you got your diploma from.

wondering if I'll be able to go to a decent 4-year university if I do cc now?
