<p>I always thought like… 6-6.5 was average. I don’t know. That’s just what my guy friends told me. But if 5 is “average” them I’m probably less than my original guess.</p>

<p>if 5 = neither attractive nor repulsive, then I would say the average could easily be 6-7, which is what it seems to be on this thread. So I don’t know how much people are overestimating themselves.</p>
<p>I don’t think many people will rate themselves beyond 8’s. When you’re in the same skin for over 10 years, being exposed to pretty people all over the place, I think it’s hard to think highly of your own appearance even if people say otherwise because you’re just so used to it.</p>
