So I get this nice letter from USAFA a few days after getting accepted to summer seminar which reads:

“Congradulations! Your application to the Air Force academy indicates you have the potential for admission… blah blah blah”

Then it lists the application process and my liaison officer and where to log in to check my status. So I’m like, sweet I can check my status now. Well, I log on to see they have me listed with ACT math and english at 30. I, in fact, did not score a 30 math score on the ACT. I actually hadn’t even taken the ACT when I applied for SS and I still hadn’t taken it when my liaison officer interviewed me. All I did was choose for my scores to be sent to USAFA by ACT when I did take the February test. So now I’m scared I got falsely accepted to SS ><. My only theory is that a secretary made a mistake typing it in or something…My dad says it might be an honor code test, but I don’t think so…

I’ve left a message at the academy that its messed up. So hopefully we’ll see soon enough.

I really doubt that anybody in admissions would try to sneak an honor test in on you; after all, what guarantee is there that you would be checking your online application page anyway? Are they to assume you were being dishonest or misleading in the event you never checked your page? I wouldn't worry about that at all, but I think it's good that you made the attempt to correct it.

Zoobernarf - The same thing happened to me. They have me listed as 33 on Eng and Math when I got Eng: 33 and Math: 32. I'm emailing them. This is pretty weird....

Technically, you are not under the honor code until after BCT. They do not use honor as a means to test you because you are "taught" the honorable lifestyle when you get here. Hope that clarifies a bit.

Honor is also not supposed to be used as a "trap," if that makes sense. No worries, I'm sure it's just a simple mistake on their part. And like hornet said before, good on you for trying to fix it.
