Whatcha Doin This Weekend? March edition

You guys have had it HARD weather wise lately! It’s like the Michigan/Ohio line has pushed all the frozen precipitation north!

My husband will be shoveling off the woodshed roof soon. Since my broken wrist isn’t fully healed, I can’t help with shoveling. It’s too bad, because I actually enjoy the activitiy.

That is gorgeous. Just beautiful.

(We are dealing with pollen, and pollen, and more pollen way south of you.)

Still sitting in the Philly airport waiting for my puddle hopper to MDT; the guy in front of me has been taking selfies with a loaf of bread for over 30 minutes. This is my weekend entertainment so far :joy:

French bread?
I often see people take selfies of very random things, don’t get it.

Husband’s weekend took an abrupt change. He had lightheadedness Thursday driving home from basketball practice. Didn’t take my suggestion to talk to a doctor. Played tennis yesterday and tennis buddies (two in the health field) convinced him to go to urgent care. Urgent care found an slight increase in an enzyme and sent him to ER for EKG and more. Hospital decided to keep him overnight and he is now awaiting echocardiogram and stress test, who knows when today. Maybe there another night? So far EKG and MRI found nothing so whew there at least.

Your weekend also an abrupt change! Hope things get simply resolved.

Hugs. Hope he is going to be ok.

My husband’s appendicitis “cured” him of ER reluctance.

Uneventful weekend here. No urgent kid-initiated projects so far, but that can change.

Plans include a stop at a local nursery. Costco shopping, and maybe some wine :wine_glass: tasting while picking up our club box.

Hope he is ok!

Nothing wrong identified with husband - doctor thinks perhaps lightheadedness was due to his ear rocks being out of place momentarily. I once had bouts of vertigo and had to shake the rocks back into place. Husband does not intend to give up basketball (which I suspect might have shaken the rocks). This is the guy who has had two rotator cuff and one hamstring reattachment surgeries in the last six years. Perhaps now would be a good time to review his estate planning.

No big sporting events??? I’ll be watching UT play Kansas. Hoping for a great game and UT win.

I got to my thing this morning…but instead of going after to see DD and her husband, DH had to go to calling hours for a former colleague…several years younger than he is😢

So…we will go see DD and husband late morning tomorrow.

It was so bizarre; it was a loaf of what looked like brioche. It ended up being him smiling taking pictures with the loaf close to his face for 40 minutes. If he happened to be famous and someone sees a picture posted somewhere of a middle aged white guy with glasses, holding a loaf of brioche let me know :joy:

You probably were looking at the world’s pre-eminent bread maker, lol.

I cleaned my upstairs closets. I can’t believe those closets held so much stuff. I have so many bags to throw away and donate. So much.

Definitely not a bag a week I hope. Because the upstairs is a disaster. Covered in bags and bags of garbage!

Took a walk with my husband. We went out to lunch.

I can relate to all the neighbors being gone. March is the worst weather. Not winter, definitely not spring. Just gray blah

Spent today watching soccer and sending emails I needed to send.

Tomorrow I will play soccer in the morning, watch soccer, get a haircut, hopefully get in a good walk with my wife and then have dinner at our neighborhood Mexican joint.

My wife took our daughter shopping for maternity clothes (daughter is due in August)
