Whatever happened to that Harvard girl who plagiarized her novel?

Does anybody know? (Maybe someone from Harvard?) I followed the case pretty closely when the Crimson (as well as every other paper in America) covered it, but then it kind of fizzled out.

Just wondering.

She became a peer counsellor (no joke)

lol.

That's horrible.

http://indiaenews.com/2006-08/17859-kaavya-returns-harvard-adviser.htm

They made a movie about it, and then she wrote a book about being in a movie, and then they made a movie about that, and then she wrote a book about a movie about her writing a book, etc etc

She lost her contract and is "taking a leave" from Harvard.

she's only 18??!?

Is she taking a leave, or is she there and an RA?

From what I've heard from the news, she is going to edit her book completely and then send it out to be re-published... Maybe that has changed since I've heard that.

On a similar note does anyone know what happened to Blair Hornstein? Did she ever go to college?

the question is: who cares?

there's a thread on this on the parents forum:http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=224556

I Had read that she was on leave in a brief mention in the newspaper, but apparently she is at school and a peer advisor!
