What're My Chances at Sophie Davis Medical Program?

<p>Hey, i want to get into sophie davis next year and I was wondering what my chances are of getting in?</p>

<p>here's my info:</p>

<p>Grades:
GPA - 93
All my classes have been Honor, or Advanced, and all taken a year earlier than normal!
SAT score - 1410/1600(Only taken it once)
ACT score - Just took it, i'm expecting at least in the 30's
AP US - 5
AP Euro - 4
AP Psyche - 5
Bio - 97, Chem - 86, Physics - 82 (I know, bad :/)
Math A - 99%, Math B - 85% (Blahh!)
Top 20% of my class of 270</p>

<p>Extracurricular (In order of most involved to least):
Unity in Diversity, Team Leader
School Volunteering (Ushering for plays/musicals, leading at new student orientations)
SADD (Helped organize and set up school events)
Varsity Track and Field
Goodwill
Red Cross
Service Club (Helped in nursing homes)</p>

<p>Medical Experience:
Internship at Millard Fillmore Hospital (Ongoing)</p>

<p>Work Experience:
Delta Sonic (some carwash in my area)</p>

<p>Personal Info:
Iranian
Parents both Iranian; neither went to college
Speak English, Farsii, Spanish (All fluently)</p>

<p>Essays:
I think I wrote good essays that were strong and well-written</p>

<p>Letters of Recommendation:
1. From a doctor who I have known my whole life
2. English teacher who writes really well
3. My guidance counselor
4. My AP Psychology teacher who would be my science teacher</p>

<p>I'm gonna be graduating with an advanced honors regents diploma</p>

<p>no offense but ur gpa is real good but a lot of people have like 95+ that i have seen on the main sophie davis thread.</p>

<p>all of them have taken a lot more science claasses.</p>

<p>i for one think i have a better chance even though im a junior.</p>

<p>an advanced regents diploma means nothing. anyone who wishes to pursue med and will be applying will all of the advanced regents diploma. i could even get in now (im 2 years ahead in math science. took my second s.s regents over the sum mer. anyways goodlukc.)</p>
