<p>While practicing the "Question of the Day" segment a pop-up window came & asked me to participate a survey. I came to know from the survey that SAT is going to be modified & such renewed diversification will be implemented this spring. Do you have any idea about what changes are coming and exactly when those will come into effect?</p>

<p>The new SAT will be first released in the PSAT of 2015, and then will be widely implemented in 2016. The new president of College Board stressed that the new test would be redesigning the Writing section (Essay in particular) and the math section as well. He wants to focus on making sure people know how to do the math questions rather than (currently) where you just have to get it right. For the writing section, he wanted to penalize people for putting faulty things in the essay. For the critical reading section, he believes that challenging SAT vocab words should be reduced because we never actually use them in college.</p>
