whats a good AP test to self study for?

my school doesn't offer many APs and most of the APs offered are taught by teachers who don't even know what the AP test is like. Im already going to take calc ab and lit this year. Im in ap french this year but i kno i won't be able to pass the exam, also in ap gov which i won't take the test because its taught by a teacher new to teaching ap, and also eco cause the teacher can't even do basic math. I've never had a good history teacher ever so i can't study for an ap history exam. I've allready taken ap chem and ap bio. Whats a good AP test to self study for for someone like me that most colleges will give me credit for?

omg I thought I was the only one with this problem...my AP Economics teacher can't even do basic math...and he JUST started teaching GENERAL economics this year...he doesn't even know what he's doing...we have to teach him the material...

You should take the econ and gov courses. The AP econ test uses VERY little math (as in, it doesn't go much beyond multiplication). With a good textbook (not a review book, a proper textbook), you can cover the material the teacher skips. If you have any aptitude for politics and current events, ditto for gov.

Other than that? Eng Language shouldn't be too hard if you're taking Lit and can write decently, though the odds of getting credit for both are slim. Follow your interests - if you have programming experience, say, the CS exam (especially A) is doable. For pure self-studying-for-the-sake-of-self-study conventional wisdom has it that environmental science, world history, art history and stat are among the easiest, but colleges usually know this too.

umm the only prob with taking eco test while studying on my own time is that that class will only be litterally 5 weeks before ap test cause my school is on the block shedule. i've just heard how bad that class is frm people and i had the teacher once before for w history and we did nothing all year but play board games and watch movies.

i think im going to self study art history or stats next semester. is it hard to self study stats?

I've heard AP US gov is easy because we've been learning about our government since elementary school and hear about it in politics and all.

I'd recommend: psychology, human geography, statistics, US gov.

AP Psychology and AP Human Geography are two easy AP exams to study for.

A subject you are interested in, but your school does not have

the AP lit test I think is easier than the AP lang. test...

psychology and stats

What about stats, bio and latin literature? I'm taking latin in school but we don't have AP.

Bio is not a good idea to self study without any biology class in school to supplement it.

Though it is doable if you have taken/are taking/are going to take a biology course in your school.

^ Bio is definitely OK to self-study. I took it last year, and I had to practically self study because my teacher was so boring I could never pay attention to him for more than 5 minutes (so really, everything I learned was from reading the textbook alone.) All bio is is a ton of memorizing.

i've allready taken bio

If you take a regular Econ and Stats (in conjunction) class (non-AP) and get a prep book, would you most likely be prepared enough for the AP exams?

what is a good book to prepare you for the AP Stat exam?
