I'm in a master's program in Industrial Engineering. Looking at just the grades, what is a good performance for future employers/further graduate studies?

Fourth and fifth semesters:

GPA is a 3.6 at the moment. I know C is considered nearly failing and one must hold at least a 3.0 gpa average....

grades don’t matter too much in grad school. if you plan to get a job post-master’s, then they matter very little; many students don’t even list their grad school gpa’s, and such doesn’t look suspicious. if you are planning to later go for a phd, gpa only slightly matters. a phd is essentially a research degree. so, profs aren’t concerned too much on how well you can perform in classes. although, if your grades unusually suck, then they might question your overall abilities.
