Whats a good place/website to look for scholarships?

I really need to start looking for good scholarships... are there any good websites that list scholarships and such?? Any info would help. Thanks!

fastweb.com
local community
ur high school
google

after a lot of work during my senior year i learned:

that most people get the best scholarships from colleges...so look into scholarships colleges might give out...

local scholarships are easier to win then others...but if your just overall average, you still probably wont get anything

being a minority helps a lot

get ready to write a lot of essays....in my case, i didnt win any money for all the effort i put into it except for the university scholarship....but there are lots of people that do win...so good luck

collegeboard.com

Go to the Parents Forum on here and read all the posts about merit scholarships (look at the top of the listing). There is a wealth of information over there. They are all about scholarships given out by colleges to their applicants. You just have to do some research before you choose what schools to apply to, as some schools offer good scholarships and others don't.

Additionally, be sure your parents fill out the financial aid calculator so you can get some idea if you will qualify for need-based aid.
