<p>The curve changes due to the relative difficulty of the test - CB tries to make sure that your score is not dependent on when you took the SAT. For example, harder math sections might allow you to miss/omit one and still get an 800, while missing one on an easier test might be a 770. Curves are predetermined and not based on the performance of test takers (so scheming to take it with seniors or first-time testers is pointless). Good luck!</p>
