what's emory's best majors?

I am writing the why emory lesson, and I got confused about the major problems, cause emory doesn't have an engineering major. Could anyone introduce some best majors in Emory? Great thanks!

Well, if you want to do engineering then you might be interested in the 3-2 Engineering program with GA Tech - it’s fairly prestigious.

If you are looking for other options, the ‘best’ majors will depend on your interests. The Comparative Literature, Women’s Studies (best program in the country), and English majors have some of the most famous faculty members in the country (Milton criticism, trauma studies, disabilities studies, etc.).

This, of course, would be different if you are more science oriented. Students seem to like the Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology (NBB) department because of its interdisciplinary focus. A more specific focus would help to give you a perspective on majors, though.

Emory is also known for its business program so a lot of people major in Finance or something Business related.

Aside from NBB, Biology is also a popular major.

What about their Anthropology major? They have the regular BA in Anthropology and a BS in Human Biology & Anthropology. Is that strong?

The Anthropology major is very strong but it tends to focus more on biological/medical anthro and less on cultural. Our Marshall Scholar (like the Rhodes) this year majored in Anthropology.

Amadani thanks for posting that. I didn’t get the Wheel today and glanced at it and was intrigued…definitely don’t want to leave the dorms right now to go pick up a copy though!
