<p>Neither Chemistry nor Biology involve a abstract, 3d thinking. The skills neccesary for Physics are mainly mathematical, with a dimensional twist. Different skills are being tested.</p>

<p>Physics is also the hardest science for me. I think it might've been marginally easier had I taken it along with AP Calc this year, but I took it as a junior. I had a horrible time in the class and struggled to understand concepts that were pretty intuitive to other people.</p>

<p>It seems like physics is just one of those things that people either really understand or they don't. At my school, although our physics teachers are horrible, there are still plenty of people who do well just because it comes naturally.</p>
<p>sars284 - Well, I'm not a junior anymore, but yeah, had a pretty horrible time in physics last year. I ended up doing well in the class, but it was by far the hardest class I'd ever taken.</p>
<p>PrescitedEntity - Well, I didn't need to know calculus for most of the stuff in honors physics (no AP at our school...not that I would've taken it if it was offered), but at the beginning with position/velocity/acceleration, it would've been really nice to know derivatives from calc.</p>
<p>I'm in AP Physics B (C is not offered...), so I'm happy that I don't have the trouble of trying to figure out the stuff without knowledge of derivatives. I mean, Physics B requires only Precalculus, but IMO, it'd be really tough without calculus skills.</p>

Physics is kinda harder, and involves less memorization.</p>
<p>thats because dr.w is really hard, but I heard a lot of people enjoy his class</p>
<p>Science has never been my subject. I always have to put in a little extra effort to achieve that "A" in the class.</p>
<p>Physics is way easier for me than chem or bio. I took B last year as a freshman, and C now as a Junior (skipped sophomore year). I only got a 4 on the B exam because we didn't cover an important topic (bad teacher), but I think I'll get a 5,5 on C tomorrow. Calculus certainly does help a lot, even for B concepts. </p>
