I'm not a pack rat at all... I just have what I need. In my locker, I have the books we were handed in class--that's it. In my back pack, I have my graphing calulator, my faovirte Zebra mech pen, an eraser, my "magic" folder, a packet for U.S., hand sanitizer, a CPR mask, a Zen MP3, and a deck of cards.

At my school, we have an open campus, and you have to walk from building to building to get to your classes, so most people don't have lockers because they don't have time to use them.
In my backpack, I keep textbooks, paper, folders, binders, pens, pencils, and a book to read if I get bored during the day.

Locker- Clothes. Any books and binders I don't need. I have a locker in each school though (3 high schools on one campus) because I use my friend's lockers in the other 2 schools and they use mine.

Backpack- Whatever I need for classes in the other buildings.

locker: absolutely nothing i opened it for the first time ever today for locker check to just show i had NOTHING IN IT!

bookbag: lunch b/c lunch food aint edible...
all my textbooks..
and i carry my binders b/c theres so many textbooks that either theres no room or it feels to uncomfortable on my back

ps: theres never a convenant time to get my books b/c my lockers r in my homeroom(literally their in the classroom...) and we have classes all day so my teacher usually has a class when i need my stuff so i carry it..at public school it was a diff. storry

in my bag:
planner
nalgene bottle
bio folder
other stuff folder
notebook
two scripts
one directing book
two packs of tissues and a lot of dayquil
ipod, cell phone, keys, wallet, etc
a bunch of dunkin donuts coupons?
pencils, pens, highlighter
makeup
graphing calculator

in my locker (that i share):
decoration-- wrapping paper on the inside of the door, mirror, post-it memos, black and white photos that my locker buddy took, magazine tearouts (we put a lot of effort into this, haha)
top shelf-- random books by whitman, lorca, rilke, catullus...? a copy of the constitution. a bunch of markers and pens.
bottom half-- often, our lunches, and a ridiculous amount of books and folders.

Wow, most of you guys actually HAVE lockers. I didn't think they were that common anymore. Since we don't have lockers my bookbag is usually full, but not as heavy as it used to be.
I typically carry(or carried, since school is now over):
Big Section:
German Textbook/Workbook
3 Folders
1 1in Binder
The book that we're reading in English
Bottle of Water
Umbrella

Medium Front Section:
Graphing Calculator
Pens, Pencils, Highlighters
Hand Sanitizer
Keys
Miscellaneous Odds and Ends

Locker:
Absolutely nothing. We have two buildings, too, (and they're almost 1/3 of a mile apart) so no one really uses their lockers, either. It's too inconvinient.

Backpack:
Textbooks, notebooks, folders
Pens, etc.
Tennis balls
Speech team meeting agendas from months ago
ID
Spare change (my mom pushes quarters on me whenever I walk out the door)
