What's life in Washington U like, apart from academics?

Yes indeed. But it is super annoying when I’m id’d to prove I’m 16. It’s like, “are you serious???” seeing as how I’m almost 20.

I once went and my friends and I were id’d, as a group of kids who were clearly 14/15 were able to walk right through.

Hm. It’s always interesting seeing who gets ID’d at places that check IDs. At least you have the comfort of knowing you’re that age, and it’s just annoying to be picked on, while if you were under the age requirement, you’d be paranoid instead. :P

ya, it’s a nuisance when they won’t take a college ID as proof that you are that age though… You need to have something with date-of-birth on it, and I normally don’t carry my drivers license, passport, etc. with me. Just requires some planning ahead if i want to go to the galleria on a friday night lol.

they took my college ID and apologized for carding me last week. Guess it depends on what guard/ what kind of mood they’re in.

I don’t really blame them for carding me, lol, it’s just a bit frustrating to be 22 and mistaken for under 16…

oh man, tell me about it, I got carded to see Pineapple Express. They tried to act like it was a compliment, but thinking i look 16 at 26 is a little ridiculous!
