This past summer I was a recipient for a scholarship to travel to an African country for a month with 12 other students from all over the United States. I was one of the eleven students selected in my county to pick a country and spend a month volunteering and learning. I spent two weeks with a home stay family and learned Arabic.

Major: Undeclared
Term: Summer 2015

Is it easier to get into the Summer term rather than the Fall?

Your SAT score is very low, to be completely honest. However, your resume, GPA and HPA I think will make up for it. I think you have an 80% of getting in.

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it! What does HPA stand for though?

^ HPA stands for Honors Point Average.

Also, I believe you have a solid chance not guaranteed but you will more likely than not get in.

Your GPA is pretty high, but your SAT does not properly represent you. That might be okay, though, because you seem to have a few ECs, too. The SAT is a bit worrying, but since you seem to be a high-achieving student in other areas, it might be overlooked. Not sure, so I can’t give a very solid opinion. However, I do wish you the best, and good luck!

your GPA and course load is quite good in my opinion…Though your SAT scores are low,but then again your EC’s are good…so I don;t really know, but I guess you have a good chance of getting in

everything fits except your SAT! i think you have a great chance of getting in. they’ll probably just assume you’re a bad test taker. always have a back up school, but don’t worry too much(:

I’ve just recieved my latest ACT score and I recieved a composite of 25, this was the second time I took it. The first time I got a 23.

Based on your sat and act scores, I would look at some test-optional schools ASAP. Everything else is stellar, and it’s a bummer that your scores could damage your admission to some great schools. I would check out Reason Prep on YouTube and google Noritara Prep’s SAT Critical Reading strategy. Both of those bumped my score from a 1770 to a 2120!

Chance me please? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1705305-harvard-upenn-georgetown-uc-berkeley.html#latest

I’ve already been accepted to UCF and USF so there’s no point in looking at other schools. Without studying, I’ve been able to bump my reading score from a 19 to a 26, and I have no clue how. What would you say would be my chances of getting in seeing as though it’s really only my test scores that are holding me back. Because last year my friend got accepted with a 1530 and didn’t do much in EC’s.

Bump
