This past summer I was a recipient for a scholarship to travel to an African country for a month with 12 other students from all over the United States. I was one of the eleven students selected in my county to pick a country and spend a month volunteering and learning. I spent two weeks with a home stay family and learned Arabic.

Major: Undeclared
Term: Summer 2015

Is it easier to get into the Summer term rather than the Fall?

You have a good chance because I know people last year who had lower stats then you do that got in to UF but people have told me that since so many people apply and that it only had one decision day, it’s kinda like a lottery out of the best applicants within their pool. I believe getting into summer term is easier since many that apply to fall will get deferred to summer, which is still not bad considering it’s not a rejection!

Chance me plz  !

You should get in to the summer term. But no way youre getting in for the fall. SAT score is to low.

What do you mean by one decision day? Oh and thanks for the info, I’ll chance you too!

Like UF only has one deadline, unlike other schools who have EA,ED, and RD. UF has only RD for everyone, therefore the applicants applying at once will be huge. They get around 30,000 applicants a year and there acceptance rate is like 39%. I still think you can get in though, but there is no 100% chance for anyone to exact.

Yes ur SAT scores r low but it looks to me that all the other aspects of ur app make up for it. The fact that ur trilingual (amazing btw) sets u apart. That is ur hook. USE IT. I would try to emphasize ur leadership positions a bit more but otherwise, i think u have a fair shot. Thx for chancing me btw
