I had some problems with my transcript not being up to date at the start of this year (my senior year) leaving me with no idea of what my GPA was. Now it's fixed, but my GPA is not as good as I thought it would be . . .

I have an unweighted 3.71 GPA. I'm in the top 15% of my class (assuming I did the calculations correctly: 60/423 ?) but I'm not sure how big of a difference that makes.

I have pretty decent EC's. I've been in a few clubs (five or so) all four years of high school, including club president and secretary, done yearbook and newspaper, am in student government, have an average amount of volunteering (camp counselor and animal shelters), review books on a blog, wrote for a magazine (also volunteer, and I was an editor), have a job, and studied abroad for a semester my sophomore year (which is partly why I think I struggled my junior year . . . I was behind, and a bit out of the swing of things).

The schools I'm applying to are:

University of Washington
Western Washington University
Seattle Pacific University
University of Oregon
University of Massachusetts - Amherst
Brandeis
College of William and Mary
University of Colorado - Boulder

I'm also applying to the honors colleges at University of Washington, Western Washington, and Oregon.

Anyway, what do you think my chance is of getting into these schools and/or receiving merit aid? Should I say something on my apps about my exchange and how it may have effected my grades upon returning home?

Thank you so much!!! I had a near panic attack when I received my transcript this afternoon.
