On the plan
I got a 18 in English a 29 in Math, a 24 in Reading and a 29 in Science
A composite score of 25/32…

Btw… thats 33/50 in English, 36/40 in Math, 21/25 in Reading and 28/30 in Reading

Anyways i already got the Act prep book and am ordering the PR

What im wondering is how i can raise that English score, cause at the moment it is really really low

Other questions

Are act questions in order of easy to hard like in SAT?

Is the ACT essay looking for the same thing as the SAT?

I don’t have that much experience with the ACT but ill try to answer to the best of my knowledge (only a freshy!)

I use to lose alot of points from the questions of ordering the paragraphs, main idea, and making conclusions. Often it’s because I ignored the entire passage and fixed grammatical errors only. Also another thing that you will learn from the books; make sure you don’t “pad” the passage, or leave the passage with alot of unnecessary details and such. Often times out of most, you will actually have the shortest answer correct. And some questions can be answered simply by sounding it out. Sounding it out will be crucial if your not as quick on things like subject verb agreement and tenses.

Yes on the math section (however easy to hard being relative to how it’s usually looked upon) and the Reading. It goes from like literature, to government, to humanity, to natural sciences or something. I’m unaware if English and Science have any specific order in terms of difficulty.

I haven’t looked over the SAT yet so it would be hard for me to answer 2

I think you mean a composite score of 25 out of a possible 36.
;)

no, the ACT essay is a little different in that you have to acknowledge the other pov. Take a look at Barrons (just browse thru it at Barnes & Noble?) which has a pretty good discussion of the essay and how to score high.

atrophicwhisper, when he wrote 25/32, that is the plans prediction of how he will score on the ACT.

PLAN scale is based on 32
ACT scale is based on 36

25 on PLAN is about 29 on ACT

Some of my friends took plan, wasn’t it tuned to what you should know during your sophomore year of high school? or not?
