<p>What kinds of students do they look for? Does this university have very high status and renown? Is there an active Asian American community at Johns Hopkins? Do they generally have good financial aid programs?</p>

<p>haha. it's an amazing school. i'd kill to go there for their biology department and its peabody conservatory of music.
there's an active asian america community at hopkins. a lot of asians go there.
not sure about financial aid though.

<p>Lots of asian activity, there's an all asian fraternity and various clubs/social groups...I got helped out a lot with financial aid, definitely give it a shot..the students here are pretty amazing/talented/well-rounded</p>
