What's some strength and weakness about this school?

I'm still deciding should I go to this school. I'm curoius what's everyone opinions about this school. Do people who graduate here managed to go to law school, med school, etc.? What you love about this school?

Questions on film program.I will be attending in the Fall. How good is their Film Program? What’s bad about it?

I am attending this fall for the first time as a transfer and I will give my answers through the research I have done.

Film program is great. Steven Spielberg is an alumni of the school and came back to receive his degree in film here. Pixar has an outreach program to students at LB if your into animation stuff.

I don’t know about students going to med, law school but the school overall has a great reputation, not prestigious but great. Its definately one of the top tier colleges in the cal state system.

My opinion of the school through research has been generally positive. It has academics, great professors, social life, great area, and great facilities. Dorms look about average in my opinion. Wish the school had exclusive transfer housing like there bigger counterparts. The school overall seems exciting and I have been told that yes it is a commuter school but is the closest to having an actual college experience similar to its bigger counterparts, not to mention it is one of the bigger cal university.

lets just hope im right. but overall I feel like I made the right decision, i chose the school specifically for my academic endeavors, so everything else is just perks to me :).

I have nothing to do with medicine, but from what I hear csulb has a great nursing/pre-med program.

Csulb also has a bit of prestige nationally. It’s still no UC Berkeley or SB, but its been around a long time and has strong academics.

I love the campus, the ever-looming shiny blue pyramid  I haven’t been here long enough to really know how the classes will pan out over time. Though I’ve noticed they seem to really try to help the students succeed, despite having 35 thousand of them
