I know this is a really general question but what's the best dorm here? Do any of them have dining halls inside them? Like where you don't have to change clothes to go eat

Of the large dorms around Farrand Field, where most students seem to want to live, I believe Libby is the only one with a full service dining center. Baker Hall is right next door to Libby, and is currently undergoing a total renovation.

The C4C dining hall is steps away from Hallett and Williard Hall.

Popular Sewall Hall has it’s own dining hall, but is away from Farrand Field. The Wiliams Village community, which is a short shuttle bus ride away from campus, has Darley Commons.

My son lived in an Engineering Quad dorm. He’d have breakfast at Libby, lunch at the Farrand Hall Grab n Go (organic/ fresh selections) and dinner at the C4C. Plenty of pj’s, robes, and sweats at all hours he says.

Thanks so much!!

when will baker hall be finished

It is scheduled to reopen this fall.

Sorry to thread-jack here. Can I stick wall decals in my dorm room? The housing policy says no permanent redecoration, and sort of mentions adhesive things, but I have a wall decal that won’t damage the wall (at least it hasn’t in any of the three other rooms I’ve hung it in.) Will they make me take it down?

Depends on your RA’s. They do a required inspection every semester. My son’s RA gave the residents plenty of notice of when they would be.
