What's the best major for medical school?

I really liked high school chemistry, so that's what I was thinking about majoring in for medical school. However, I've heard that chemistry is the hardest major, with students having an extremely low GPA. Would it be better to major in something like cellular/molecular biology or biochemistry? Thanks, and anything helps!

you will be surprised how many people with literature/history major get into med school… remember, med school want diversity too

It doesn’t really matter what you major in for med school. Major in what you like, take the pre-med requirements and get a high MCAT score.
