What's the difference between "Economics" and "Economics and Accounting"?

Maybe in terms of which offers a higher salary post college or which provides the biggest ease into getting a job post college?

Economics is the one with higher salary potential, but its more competitive. I think a master’s degree is probably the way to go. The econ and math major is for students planning on grad school. Accounting and econ students from ucsb are highly recruited by big accounting firms so I guess they probably do better than most acct grads.

@Deeppurple, how is Economics the one with higher salary potential between the two? Would you elaborate?
