<p>Obviously the jobs are very different. Investment bankers tend to be paid more and have more potential to increase their pay on average than consultants. Both are demanding in terms of work, but I-Banking is probably the most demanding of all with work weeks ranging from 80-100+ hours. Consultants have the perks of traveling. Both are far more stressful than the average job; I-banking borders on the edge of insanity.</p>
<p>Ibanking: you go to WhartonSternRossorwhatever, spend four years on a grueling business education, then sell your soul to Goldman Sachs for a reasonable sum.</p>
