What is the difference between:
U of M-Ann Arbor
U of M-Dearborn
U of M-Flint

UM ann arbor is by far the best. The other two are pretty crappy in comparison.

Flint is a city that was totally destroyed by GM plant decisions and stuff, so basically the entire city is poor and life really sucks there. Watch this movie called Roger and Me, it gives you a cool view of Flint, MI.

Ann arbor is the best.

I heard U of M dearborn is a good university but it's only a master's university. Does anyone have any other opinions about this?????

No, U of M Dearborn does undergrad degress as well.

asayedahamed, the reason you were probably confused by UM-Dearborn is because it is listed with universities that do not grant PhDs and only go up to the MA/MS level. However, UM-Dearborn definitely offers undergraduate studies.

This said, the UM system isn't like the UC system. The Flint and Dearborn campuses are generally considered satelites rather than universities. They are certainly decent academically, but they do not come close to offering the experience, resources and academic opportunities offered that the Ann Arbor campus.

Yeah I don't believe Dearborn or Flint have sports teams or student housing on campus.

All my friends who go to UM-Dearborn go there because they didn't get into UM-AA (or didn't want to write 3 essays to apply) and didn't want to go to Michigan State. They all live at home or in an apartment.

UMD at least has a hockey team...
